Jason Aldean has confirmed he is working on a new album.
Aldean spoke to Bobby Bones Friday morning and said he is just beginning the process of recording new music.
“We went in this week and I think we cut about eight songs, said Aldean. “Just because we got time. Typically we are trying to squeeze those sessions in when we are off the road.”
Aldean will soon celebrate his 22nd number one song on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with “Got What I Got”. The single was written by Thomas Archer, Alex Palmer, and Michael Tyler. It was released in April as the second single from his ninth studio album ‘9’.
Aldean said he will go back in November to record vocals for at least half of his tenth album. He added it will probably be finished in March 2021, but released at a later date when he can tour again.
During his interview with Bones, Aldean also talked about how he proposed to his wife Brittany Aldean, his children, and Night Train Records – his label under BBR Music Group.
